Because I worked and lived in Rotherham, UK for the past seven weeks, here are a few pictures from the area:

Most days the weather wasn't too bad so I usually walked to the theatre where I worked:

From a venue where we had a company party, I took this shot of Rotherham centre in the distance 

In the local park I made a startling discovery: Santa's Workshop is not on the North Pole or in Norway or something. But in Rotherham!

This was my morning walk view on cloudless days:

Oh, and happy New Year for those who celebrate that occasion on the 1st of January according to the Gregorian calendar. Here's some fireworks I saw from my bedroom window:

Inspired by a colleague I was allowed to give a massage, I wrote this poem during the interval of one of our (74) performances:

She softly moaned (a piece of #stoetry)

Under his hands 

she felt better 

than she had in hours 

after a dreamless night 

with too little sleep 

he touched her once more 

enjoying the smell of her skin 

and the numbness of his fingers

while she softly moaned
