It's been a while (nine years?) and I miss the Skywatch community. In the meantime I started weekly posting a short story or a poem. "So why not do both?" I asked myself. And here I am.

How 're all you lovelies doing in your parts of the world?

Still some time to spend in Mechelen, so here are some pictures taken on my walks, the studio were we rehearse in Schelle and even one from a trip from the one place to the other.

"Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-van-Hanswijk" is the name of this basilica and Catholic church, I asked my Google device to 'move':

The studio building where we rehearse has an architecture I think I will call 'pragmatic':

And of course I had to visit a 'frietkot', a typical Belgian snackbar:

This week's poem is inspired by a colleague:

Focus

Her musky scent 

almost threw him off

and for a moment 

he was lost in time 

and almost in space 

Because he drowned in her eyes 

and heard an angel sing

But a deep voice 

called him back:

"Focus!"
