On my way to see a friend for coffee, I passed this (almost) daily open air market where vendors were just arriving to open their stalls. Do you have one near you?

The dark clouds made way for a lovely, sunny day:

So I spent a bit of time in this park:

Before I went home through this street

and decided to take a book and lie down on a patch of grass near the waterfront behind my appartment building. Apparently someone had brought a barbecue set and one by one different people living in the neighbourhood joined, bringing food and drinks for everyone to share. Just close your eyes and pretend to be on a nice vacation, hearing an Arabic dialect, two people speaking Urdu, a conversation in Ukrainian, a bit of English and even someone speaking Dutch with an unmistakeble Amsterdam accent. 

I was woken up by a gentleman holding a piece of chicken under my nose. I thought I heard him speak Indonesian a bit earlier so said: "Ah, ajam. Terimah kasih!" Knowing a few words in other languages helps to break barriers. Do you speak different languages?

Amsterdam is quite the international place. With people from some 135 different nationalities. Too bad a lady from the Cayman Islands just passed away and a couple from Tuvalu recently moved out. Otherwise it would have been more. 

Are people where you live from several nationalities or just from a few?

This piece of prose is based on a conversation I overheard:

Stalker (a #ShortStory)

I have a stalker!

O, that's serious! Are you sure 

and do you perhaps have a picture of him 

so the police can be on the lookout for him?

Yes. I have over 300 pictures of him

and especially got a zoomlens for my camera.

I'll show you.

Here he is on the corner of the street.

Here he is sitting in his living room.

Here he is brushing his teeth in the bathroom.

I checked the nameplate on his door

and found out where he works.

So here he is parking his car at work.

Here he is sitting behind his desk

and here he is picking his daughter up from hockey practice.

Of course I looked him up on social media

and discovered he follows dozens of women.

Even men.

I'm terrified!

Do you think he is the stalker?

"He never thanked us once!"

A standard tactic of fascists is lying. A lot. Because simple minded people believe anything if they hear it often enough. 

Like when they stated President Zelensky not once thanked them for their (financial and military) help in Ukraine's fight against a fascist dictator who attacked Ukraine with brute force. And violated at least two dozen ceasefire agreements. 

In the fascist's defense (I'm defending fascists. Please don't tell my grandmother and mother and her brothers who survived a Japanese prison camp): Zelensky did indeed not say thank you once. But at least 33 times. 

"But you can't call fascists fascists because that will make the poor snowflakes cry!" I will stop calling fascists fascists as soon as all fascists have stopped being fascists, okay?

The Musk* Regime (aka 'The Trump Government') is a Mafia Familia. With an actual Don at the head of the table but secretly his consiglieri (an illegal, African immigrant) holding the reigns and doing the bidding of the largest Mafia Familia on the planet: the Kremlin with all its olicharchs (or however you spell that. Am a bit p1ssed off so f*ck spelling) and their tech bro buddies and big land owners, aka 'Big Agro'. 

*Edit: when I wrote this. Elon wasn't forced out from being one of the regime's minions

"You're just jealous of Elon Musk because he's rich!" Is he, really?

If I have 2000 and at the end of the month I have 200; I know 1800 went to the housing-, a telecom- and an insurance company, the supermarket and that nice guy from the falafel shop at the end of my street. When Musk recently lost billions...who has all that money now?

"Pay us 20% of your turnover and give our friend Vlad access to all your resources. Or else. It would be a shame if something happened to your nice country. Did I tell you we have nukes?" It's simply an attempted (because Z is having none of it) shakedown. Like in the kindergarten school yard: "Gimme your lunch money or my big friend behind you will give you a wedgie." 

Mob enforcer JD Vance (pseudonym for John Bowman) threatened Greenland: "Give my boss all your land and resources or else!" and showed no respect. He could have at least worn a suit, right?

Has Vance actually said 'Thank you' to the people of Greenland?

Any sane person stands with the oppressed and attacked, never with the bullies and fascists. And there's no guarantee Count Vlad will stop his quest for more Lebensraum to create his Thousand Year Empire, filled with only Übermenschen and imposes a policy of Blut und Boden (just like Mr. Mileikowsky in the Middle East), once Ukraine has fallen. 

So in a way I'm grateful to Krasnov (Trump) and Bowman (who later started to call himself Vance. But weirdly enough demands people should always use their birthname. Calling people by a later chosen name is woke and therefore bad. So people calling Mr. Bowman 'JD Vance' are woke) for getting the leaders of Europe forget about their quarrels and unite against the agressor. 

I don't like fascists very much. You may have guessed. 

If you like fascism, can you explain to sane people why you do that? You can answer that question anonymously. Which should be no problem since you already barf your fascist nonsense anonymously all over social media.
