Just returned to my hometown of Amsterdam after living and working in Rotherham, UK for the past two months. Here are some pictures of that town in South Yorkshire:

Staring at the moon from an open bedroom window (a #poem)

Staring at the moon 

from an open bedroom window 

he realised the moon

doesn't have to be full 

to enjoy her company. 

Which he did. 

Happiness was a fleeting feeling 

but contentment lingers on

and moments like these 

could always be recalled. 

And so he smiled 

thinking of that moment 

his arm around her shoulders 

and them 

staring at the moon 

from an open bedroom window
