We're near a military base so I guess this communications tower is there for good reason. The drone was there to record the placement of a new bungalow at the holiday park.I love the sunset at the De Panne beach!
On my day of, friends took me to France: Cap Blanc-Nez
After a nice swim in the rain in the sea and a (short because of the rain) picknick, we went to a town called Gravelines:
Because of some sore muscles (I have bookkeeper muscles but am dancing and singing and acting in a musical now), I went to see a physiotherapist who held his office near here:
With the friends in Cap Blanc Nez:
Who dropped me off late that evening at the entrance of the holiday park where I'm staying during the run:
Too bad the clouds prevented us from seeing England; the country is just a vague line in the background.
Always a nice sight, the hotel where we usually share a 'after show' drink:
A soaked but happy me at Cap Blanc-Nez beach:

This week's poem is inspired by an accidental collision backstage:
Emptiness of Space
The great, multi coloured balls
weren't all big,
and some moved faster than others.
Collissions were to be expected
and happened.
One after the other
two balls collided
and exploded
into a trillion shards of fire.
Icy fire
as it was cold,
traveling at the speed of light
in the vast - almost -
emptiness of space
