It's been a while (nine years?) and I miss the Skywatch community. In the meantime I started weekly posting a short story or a poem. "So why not do both?" I asked myself. And here I am.
How 're all you lovelies doing in your parts of the world?
Still in Mechelen, rehearsing for a musical. So no pictures of anywhere outside the studios or our temporary housing.
Really enjoying the Mechelen architecture.Even the local shopping mall looks interesting! Just ask my colleague who's (barely) in this picture:
Even on gloomy days, the buildings here look nice.
The market square is my favourite place to be.
And not just because of the Irish pub.
Although everything can look nice with a good pint of beer inside you. 🍻

This week's piece of prose is a bit dark; hope you like it:
A Religion
Darkness was welcomed
and peacefully the situation accepted
Soon it would all be over
Turning memories themselves
into memories
That became stories and tales
and finally Chinese Whispers
that might lead
to the creation
of rumours
And maybe even
A religion

An intriguing story, and great photographs!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful and dramatic sky.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove the photos - Mechelen has a certain character with all the buildings. I'm especially interested in the market square. Makes me want to grab an umbrella and wear comfy walking shoes and explore the streets myself.
