It's been a while (nine years?) and I miss the Skywatch community. In the meantime I started weekly posting a short story or a poem. "So why not do both?" I asked myself. And here I am.

How 're all you lovelies doing in your parts of the world?

We went to Planckendael zoo. Where I waited a little while to get a bird in the frame of this reflection:

Did you spot it?

Speaking of birds: here's one (the same one perhaps?) flying over the flamingo's:

Hint: it's about in the centre of the frame.

We also went for a swim at a nearby surf club:

And of course we sat on a patio (with a beer, yes) enjoying Mechelen at night:

And I just had to say hello to Margaret of Austria:

Here's the view from the balcony of my temporary apartment:

This week's poem is inspired by our choreographer, whose partner had just proposed to him:

There was love (a #poem)

After all this time 

they still didn't know 

what was the scariest 

thing to say:

"Future" or "I'm sorry"

Which wasn't the end 

of their story 

but merely the way it was

For they didn't care 

because they knew 

there was love

Are worshippers less intelligent?

Are less intelligent people more inclined to worship celebrities, or does worshipping celebrities lead to a decline in cognitive ability?

A Hungarian research amongst over 1700 people, took the first steps into answering that question.

Perhaps worshipping in general makes people less intelligent. Or gullible people are more easily triggered by influencers. Like clergy, populist politicians and other PR agencies.
