A new friend and I went to Saltburn-by-the-Sea on a day of. And thoroughly enjoyed our walk. As well as coincidentally running into a co-worker (the Wicked Queen in our Snow White play in Middlesbrough) and her daughter:

Inspired by a fresh memory, I wrote this poem:

Full of Hope (a #poem)

Conscience disguised 

as a knock on the door 

made him change his mind 

about staying the night 

Solace shaped

like a comfortable bed

made him realise 

there's no reason to fight 

Thus - reluctantly -

he walked out 

with a heart 

full of hope
