It had snowed quite a lot in York but - via Sheffield and Manchester - I managed to get out of Rotherham
Unfortunately weather conditions around Amsterdam Schiphol Airport got me grounded for a night. The next day the situation had improved a bit. Allowing me to return to my beloved Amsterdam after an almost two months absense.
Are you familiar with the feeling of seeing your hometown after a prolonged absense?

After a deep converstation with a co-worker about feelings' right to exist and they're really not 'negative' or 'positive' but - not unlike the forces of nature - simply 'are', I wrote this piece:
Disappear (a #poem)
So what if she made him cry
tears of sadness
have a right to exist
At least as much
as happy tears
Which she brought out
with a nod and a smile
with a look without fear
And the fear,
that restless feeling?
They made it disappear
