"Large" is a real English word, right? No, it's not. At least not always. It's actually French and really means 'wide' or 'broad'. It's just one of the many, many examples of words that became part of the English vocabulary. Which is a medieval, Latin word.
You and I would not be able to understand an English person from 500 years ago. Let alone speak with 'the Cheddar Man', a 'real Englishman'. From the Mesolithic era. Some 9000 years ago. Just like you probably would not understand a word of what the grandchildren of the grandchildren of your grandchildren say.
Not only the languages of men change over time, but so does their appearance.
Factors like nutrition (available food) and climate change our appearance. It changes the amount of melanin we need but - looking at our US friends here - apparently also our fat percentage.
Just look at these images of our cousins and ancestors: Homo Neandertalensis, Cro Magnon, Homo Sapiens and the recent addition: Homo Americanus, pictured in the bottom (...) left corner.
And it's all normal. Evolution is normal. Mixing is normal. Adapting is normal.

Some 800.000 years ago humankind almost went extinct because of some world wide disaster.
Or - more likely - a series of disasters: draught, floods, food shortgages, climate change and perhaps a pandemic. Possibly like the one that some scientists believe eventually lead to the extinction of our Neandertal cousins. If only they had vaccins in those days. .
If the approximately 1200 survivors in those days had been racist bigots who refused to accept others because they looked different and had different habits, humankind would have seized to exist.
Do you see any advantages of being a racist idiot? Which is a pleonasm so let's rephrase that: Do you see any advantages of being a racist?
